Upper Flume Trail | Roderick Haig Provincial Park
The upper flume trail, also known as ‘trail 6,’ is a wondrous trail full of excitement. Unlike the other quiet trails in this provincial park, the upper flume trail is loud and proud. Raging white water rapids shake the floor beneath your feat. They only get louder the further up the trail you climb. You will not be disappointed!
Trail Name: Upper Flume Trail ‘Trail 6’
Distance : Full ~4.5 km
Time: 2-3 Hours Round-trip
Difficulty: Medium- More Demanding
Favourite Time to Go: Late Spring/Summer
The flume trail can get washed out during the spring season due to heavy snow melt and rain. This can cause quiet dangerous conditions (we went late spring and a small part of the trail was still flooded). Roderick Haig Provincial Park is about an 1 hour drive from Kamloops (drive further up the river to reach the flume trails).
