What would you like to know?
Are you a travelling nomad?
Not at all. I have previously spent a few months at most in a single country, but I always come back home. I try to travel the most possible during the year, but I am often wandering local when I’m home.
How do you afford to travel?
I work when I am home, no fancy answers on this one. Since I am a part-time traveller, I do have a lot of time to work.
What kind of camera do you use?
Sony a6100 (Main lens 14-85 mm) + pancake lens
Go Pro.
OnePlus3 Phone.
What are your favourite travel items?
Wet-naps (sealed wet towelettes): These have been a lifesaver in more than one situation. Especially for my husband. I never knew a man to be victim to so many bird poop incidents while travelling. Especially when it’s smack center of your forehead. You never know when you will need them.
Noise cancelling headphones: My husband has a pair of headphones with noise-cancelling features, I don’t use them for music per say, instead, I steal them for the peace and quiet. It makes it a lot easier to catch a few z’s on the flight.
Extra USB wall outlet cubes: We have about half a dozen of these. We always toss a few in just in case a charger gets left behind or we have a burnout cube (even with electrical conversion cubes for different countries, we have still had a charger fry on us before). Excellent if you plan to take lots of pictures.
Osprey backpack (40-L): It is a great size and fits perfectly in those carry-on’s measuring stations at airports (Some airlines are very stingy with capacity). Best recommended for backpacking.
Microfiber towels: These are amazing, especially if you are tight on travel capacity and don’t want to lug around a full-sized towel. They dry fast and are very small!
