Photography Around Iceland That Will Inspire You To Go.
A Land of Ice and Fire
Thousands of years of clashing oceans and volcanic activity have moulded the land that is now known as Iceland (island – Icelandic). And that has not yet ceased; as the volcanoes are still very active, roughly erupting every 4 years or so, Iceland’s land mass is changing and growing. Scattered with multiple glaciers, moss fields, hot pots and too many waterfalls to count, it’s no wonder Iceland has quickly escalated and established itself as a well-known tourist destination.
I was lucky enough to spend almost two weeks in this country; I easily took a few Gigabytes worth of photos. It was a shock at first. I feel like my pupils were visually assaulted (in a good way) by every site in this country. My eyes glued to the windows as we drove through ash fields, rocky f-road terrain, and even a few streams. Undoubtedly, a photographers wonderland; anywhere you stopped along the road you could snap a beautiful picture. But amongst the thousands of photo’s I had taken, these would have to be the highlights of my Icelandic adventure.
Moreover, while I procrastinate releasing my 12-Day Iceland Itinerary just a little longer, I’d like to give you a glimpse of beautiful Iceland as I have seen it. Please do enjoy and I hope to stir that travel bug in you!
